One
of my other passions besides dancing for the Lord is quilting.
I
began doing fabric dyeing for my quilts. Now it has spilled over
into dyeing silk for streamers and flags. I offer fabric dyeing
workshops
in my home for those wanting to learn the techniques I use in dyeing
silk for streamers, flags or garments or dyeing cotton for quilting.
This workshop
is designed to give you a background on the use fiber reactive
dyes as applied to natural fibers such as silk, cotton or rayon.
Fabric dyeing is a two-day process. The first part will be
in my
home and the second day I will give you instructions on how to
complete the process in your own home. I have to warn you,
it
is a messy business. For all those creative souls who want to
put their creativity to use, write me for more information.
For
all who want to try dyeing on your own, I sell a book that
will be of great help.
